Was it a 5x4 game or a 5x5 game ? Only 4 rows are displayed. Maybe a layout bug ?

It was a default game, 5x5. I didn't notice that there are only 4 rows, but now I see you are right.
Maybe a layout bug.

is it reproducible ? if you change the number of row/cols, does it correctly resize the window ?

Here's what it looks like by default on ubuntu

Better steps to reproduce:

  1. "minesweeper.gui" run;
  2. set rows = 6;
  3. set cols = 8;
  4. click New game.

8th column is cut off, 6th row is not in the window frame (can be revealed by resizing the window).
