Refactoring

• #648 Convert to AppCompatActivity
• #812 Update to Wear 2.0, to allow latest Play services. Must be done by someone with a Wear 2.0 device and the interest.
• AndroidX migration, requires #648, #812 and is required to keep registered in Play.
