Is any one using this clock control in app?

Just wondering if we can use this. If apple wanted us to use clock then may be they would give us as control. May be I am overthinking. Any take on this?

Hm. Its an interesting thought! based on other issues that have been submitted, I'd presume that others are already using the control in their apps on the store. My current job will submit an app with this control to the App Store....
I do know that apple in the past has not liked people to duplicate the home screen.

fwiw, I'm about to start a job at a very secretive company in Cupertino CA ;) and likely will not be updating this control after that.
