I was introducing a friend to version control, showing her jj and git (since jj's docs assume familiarity with git). However, when we downloaded jj.exe onto her PC, Windows Defender flagged it as a trojan. I am fairlyconfident that it is a falsepositive, but I do not want to make that decision on behalf of my friend.
Besides simply assuming this is a false positive, is there anything that can be done to resolve this?
PS: this is probably not the jj project's probem to solve, but Windows Defender's, however I figure it may serve useful to have this discussion here anyway, in case anyone else is having the same trouble and doesn't know where to look.
