Rich text metadata and advanced interactivity

I want to build a diagram which shows a network infrastructure. I would like the servers to be clickable and show extra information in a separate shape/window, like a server function description and IP address. However I would also like the user to be able to select different environments which changes the IP address and other metadata. Shape properties are too limited in that I can't style it differently and the information is not easy to copy.

Finally to top it off I want to be able to embed it into Confluence. I know this has some limitations on its own.

I don't mind using some sort of API to have the metadata displayed outside the diagram, but I haven't found anything actively maintained.

I have a lot of room in the way information is displayed, but I'm really looking for a solution that allows this kind of interactivity. Maybe this is too much to ask, and perhaps Draw.io is not the right tool for the job, but it has some big benefits so I'm wondering: is this possible within Draw.io?
