Gateway to Pandas official JetBrains project

Welcome to the hands-on course by JetBrains Educational Products, dedicated to mastering one of the most popular Python library — Pandas. The name "Pandas" has its roots in the term "panel data", which is an econometric term for datasets.

This course is curated for individuals who possess basic knowledge of Python programming. It aims to provide comprehensive coverage of the following objectives:

  1. Understanding Pandas data structures: delve into the intricacies of DataFrame and Series.
  2. Mastering data preparation and cleaning: summarizing, filtering, sorting.
  3. Conducting data exploration, manipulation, and analysis — a fundamental step across diverse domains, from ML competitions to business tasks.
  4. Tackling advanced topics: Engage with tabular data and implement your own TED Talks recommendation model to deepen your knowledge and proficiency with Pandas.
  5. Providing numerous real-world examples of code implementation and hands-on exercises to put your new skills to the test with instant feedback.

The course leverages the official documentation of Pandas, supplemented with additional examples and exercises inspired by real-world scenarios.

As you navigate this course, remember the aim is to learn and have fun. Good luck!

Should you wish to contribute, you're more than welcome to submit a pull request to course's GitHub repository.
