Describe the bug
jellyfinmediaplayer linux client takes a long time to open, because of it taking a long time to establish connection with libCEC

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
run jellyfinmediaplayer from a terminal / some launcher

Expected behavior
it should open immediately

  • OS: Arch/Hyprland
  • Version 1.11.1-2
  • Installation Method : AUR

I tried flatpak version and it has no such problem weirdly
someone in jellyfin forum pointed out that #610 might be related to it

altho i did not need to disable the "socket=wayland" in flatseal

Neither do I have nvidia gpu
