Oh. My custom _layouts are breaking it, I think. I get the same results when previewing locally with the gem 'github-pages' installed.

Something in my _config.yml was bad too. Replacing that with a simple:

title: MailSpoon Documentation
email: andrew.net
description: Documentation for MailSpoon

baseurl: "/"
url: ""

theme: jekyll-theme-cayman

fixed it.
