How do you usually debug kernel issues? For the Pixel C (and any other ChromeOS EC based devices), a special cable called SuzyQable was available and basically exposed a tty over USB. Is there something similar for the Surface (or better, for my Surface Pro X)?
Blindly testing out the kernel doesn't seem like a good path to take :(

I'm trying to do a port on https://github.com/denysvitali/surface-pro-x-linux based on the work of @Sonicadvance1 (https://github.com/Sonicadvance1/linux, Sonicadvance1/linux#27) but probably there are more experienced people in this field than me that are willing to help...
