Scrolling lags after exiting an image with ESC key on Safari

Describe the bug
Scrolling down/up begins to lag after exiting an image with the ESC key, and only goes back to normal after clicking anywhere on screen.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to any game page.
2. Click on any image that can be expanded.
3. Before clicking anything, exit the image by pressing your ESC key.
4. See error
5. Click anywhere on screen to resolve the issue.

Expected behavior
The scroll should behave normally after exiting the image.
