+If you would still like to use this app instead, I've implemented a quick fix in v0.5 for blender 2.8 (tested on the 2.83 LTS release) to get the rendering engine from the project `.blend` file, as in 2.8 the `BLENDER_RENDERER` was removed and `EEVEE` was introduced.
