With the announce of Quarto at Rdtudio::conf2022, do you think it will be ok to use thesisdown package with Quarto or do we have to use only with Rmarkdown

Hi there. There are not currently plans for me to add Quarto support, but I'd be interested in reviewing the work of anyone who'd like to help contribute to that!

What would be the main changes or challenges to making a qmd version?

Depending on the scale of the project, I might be able to contribute.

Ressources for creating a .qmd equivalent

• The Quarto equivalent of bookdown is Quarto Books
• From what I gather, it seems it would have to be a custom format of Quarto Extensions
• Notes on Changing from Rmarkdown/Bookdown to Quarto

I'm not too familiar with creating Quarto custom formats, so clarifications and/or corrections are much appreciated.
