Problem

When creating predictions from a regression model, currently a new column of point predictions is attached to the data table. It would be nice to also have the option to create prediction intervals.

Solution

When creating predictions, users should have an option to specify to creation of a prediction interval. The lower and upper bounds of the interval would be appended as new columns to the data table. Aside from a checkbox to create prediction intervals, one would need to be able to specify the level (e.g., 95% or 99%) of the prediction interval.

how about also confidence intervals for mean Y; and also the ability to show one or both on the plot at specified X values along with the regression line (Minitab can do this)
