I would like iridium to take note from other browsers like ungoogled chromium and find a way to allow unpacked extensions or .crx from third party site's like github/not in the app store, to be installed.
Sine 2016-2018 google has been blocking any extensions that are not from the web app store with the message "Unsupported extensions disabled" even when you enable developer mode.
This makes any GitHub extension much harder to install, there's ways around this by changing your system policies but that rarely works, and there's also Ceiridge's Chrome-Developer-Mode-Extension-Warning-Patcher, but i would like it better if the GitHub extensions worked from the beginning.

I think there is a solution called Chromium Webstore that also works for Iridium - at least for me ;)
I just tried installing "Kee" directly from the Chrome Web Store after installing the extension mentioned above directly from Github
