The main reference-project of digital preservation of scientific articles (JATS + PDF official preservation) in nowadays is, perhaps, the LOCKSS project...

We see that IPFS-cluster is perhaps part of the "replace LOCKSS" solution, but we see it as "only technology", not the complete infrastructure + business model, for trust in it the next 10 years.

If I do not want to trust the Filecoin, there are another way to replace my investments in LOCKSS by investments in IPFS?

PS: implicit long-term storage. Not need fast response after first request, not need "many MB/sec" during cache transfer, not need frequent "check alive"...
The focus is "long-term digital preservation".
