Context

  • Ever since the introduction of feat(backend): add local payment #2857, we are no longer tracking the payment amount in telemetry. We are only tracking the amounts for payments made over ILP using packet_amount_fulfill. We should start keeping track of the local payment amounts.

  • Add new metric for tracking local payment amounts
