reorganize files and folders to automate index #44
Comments
as discussed today with @cicdguy |
@moronip81 tried this before, but had trouble to get it working with more than 1 layer in the folder structure - @cicdguy do you have pointers towards how it would work in that case? |
Ah I see. Let me mess around with it later this week. |
Hi @cicdguy how did the playing around with this go so far? |
Not super great. There are still some limitations for hierarchical structuring in an automated way. There are some workaround but they aren't very elegant. |
Something to report to quarto-dev/quarto-cli/issues ? |
Indeed. I'll make a report there. |
@cicdguy once you made the report, let us know - for now we can just park this issue |
@pawelru slightly related to what we discussed re: webr addition etc, but I think this can be closed from my perspective / will be superseded when you reorganize for webr etc. |
tagging @khatril as well. lets discuss for the next PI |
we can think about reorganizing the folders and files such that we don’t need the manual index tree in quarto.yml anymore
