Describe the bug

After updating Windows 11 Pro to 24H2 none of the Android apps nor the WSA Sideloader install are working

Steps to reproduce

I have tried to reinstall all of the previous apps and none are working

Expected behavior

Just to work as it was or for a new install to restore usage.

Download source

Microsoft Store

WSA version

2407.40000.0.0

WSA Sideloader version

1.4.7

Windows build number

26100.2314 Update version 24H2

Additional context

Everything was working after the update on 11-14-2024: the Google Play Store, PocketFM, Fing, Computer Launcher, MEmu, and a few others. However, after rebooting from the update, none of those worked, and now Amazon AppStore is also not working on the new install.
Note: getting error for 127.0.0.1:58526

I'm a bit confused. Are you saying you cannot install apps using WSA Sideloader or that the apps don't work properly on WSA? If it's the latter there's nothing I can do as the only thing WSA Sideloader does is install apps. It doesn't do anything to run them.

If it's a WSA Sideloader issue, please send screenshots of the error messages you are seeing.

@c3t1nn the error is reported by adb which is a command line tool from Google to install APKs. The permission window is handled by WSA.

What WSA Sideloader does is automate the adb commands for you.

It might be worth reporting the issue on the GitHub repo where you got WSA from.
