It would be nice if the release buttons of the found libs would actually link to the released lib. Thanks.

The issue is that, at this moment, the impact index file doesn't actually contain the right URLs. So this is actually an issue with impact.

Do you think it should lead to a "download" link (that triggers a download from the browser) or to a page that contains releases (potentially for different platforms if there are binary resources)?

I think the links should refer to the release page (e.g., https://github.com/tbeu/ExternData/releases/tag/v1.1.0) and not directly to the download.
