Builds and versions

All Communique and Marconi versions are the same. Communique, generally, has two version counts: builds and versions.

Builds are the old version counts which were initially meant to be a serial counting from 1; then bugs intervened. There are sub-builds like build 8.2, which are very much like versions... However, this was discontinued in development of Communique build 13. A new version label was imposed on the old versions, with old versions now termed builds. The following table explains the correspondences before version 3.0 (build 13).
