In last week's Editor call, the assumption was that COSE_Sign1 was always the common type for any COMETRE proof type, but this is very ambiguous in the document. The terminology defines the proof type, proof value, and proof signature but then defines inclusion proofs and consistency proof without any commonality. For instance, the document never explictly says that all proof have a proof signature or introduce a common type for all proof types
