I'm a bit skeptical about recommending the use of ESNI (now ECH), because it may lead to blocking of the technology before it's widely adopted. We have already seen that happen in China, Iran and plans for Russia.

Perhaps we should wait until it's launched in multiple large platforms before using it for censorship evasion.

By the way, the new bug for tracking ECH on Chrome is https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1091403

Also, notice that ESNI is only relevant if there isn't DNS interference already going on. And if you can do SNI-based blocking, you can do DNS interference too.

It may be worth making that clearer.

Thanks @fortuna , the article and the guide will be marked as outdated and will be amended with updates about ECH in ASAP, as the guide isn't vaild anymore with changes in Firfox's impelementation .
The note about DNS encryption is also valid, I'll try to emphasize more on that in the new guide.
