It looks like one of the dependency packages fails to build with node 12. That dependency will either have to be fixed, or an alternative found.

The "ref" dependencies seem to have been abandoned - see TooTallNate/ref#107 - but fortunately there are maintained alternative versions available and I've switched to using them. This package appears now to work with Node 12 (and 10 and 8)

See the package.json file - instead of 'ref' I now have 'ref-napi'.
