Track is not downloaded completly

I have a Garmin Forerunner 305 with latest Firmware 2.90. Unfortunatelly garmin_save_runs saves only ~80% of the track (2119 data points with garmin_dump out of 2652 data points from Garmin Connect). With Garmin Express/Connect. There are not errors reported.

Occurence:
It seems not to be flakey, at least I was able to reproduce this error 10x in a row for this track.
Still this seems not to be a hard limit, since I managed to download longer tracks than that.

I installed & used garmintools on debian
