number of flowcells should be a number that the lab can alter in the project database

Would that be to check if all flow cells have been loaded for a project? Should there be a number of sample logs in the projects and a number flow cells in the sample logs instead?

From J:
No, we just need a tally for the whole project or flowcells used.

No it is to know the number of flowcells used when we are done.

We might run a flowcell 1,2, or more times. This would just be a value that the lab tech can adjust manually when the run it or we could get chip id and flowcell id from the .mol header (I believe).

If it is not in the header it is somewhere (I noticed it recently). I'll ask BioNano.
