Starting from 0.42.0 Hyprland is fully independent, I've tried to remove wlroot on 0.46.2...

and got the system launched but as soon as I launch anything (terminal, dolphin...) got Hyprland to crash.
I don't want to open an issue now as it could be a simple miss on configuration or understanding from me :

I though aquamarine backend would replace wlroot but maybe it is not enough ?
Is there a special configuration to make Hyprland works without wlroot ?

I am on FreeBSD 14.2 with Hyprland 0.46.2 with aquamarine 0.7.0

wlroots is not a dependency anymore. Can you post a crash report?

that's an odd crash. Can you try building hyprland latest git head from source?

It is my working station, don't know if I can make that without breaking/touching the current install...
perhaps safer to wait the next build available in ports, do you expect a fix in current git which should solve this one ?
