I realise this plugin isn't developed any longer, but it's still working with current Wordpress so I'm hoping somebody else can help me out with a use case:
The Palette Generator is set up on a site that I co-admin, but it seems nobody uses the multi-file uploader required for autogeneration — myself included. Whatever the reason, palettes aren't automatically generated on upload. It's a fairly low-maintenance site so for the past year or so I've manually gone in and generated palettes for new images when there's a new post.
Now, as the title says, I'm wondering if it's possible instead to just run a cron job once a day to generate those palettes for recent uploads? I'm a pretty low level PHP user, hence the question.
Hope there is somebody out there with advice on this!
