We need an updated Contributing.md page explaining clearly what would be done for the translation process with prose.io, encompassing the following points:

  • do I need to create my own branch or not? If so, the concept should be explained in simple words.
  • what is the expected URL root in which I am supposed to work?
  • how do I upload the images?
  • how can I visualize the resulting text with the inserted images?

A translation workflow guide is being developed. But there are still quite a few things to work out. A lot of (much needed) work is being done to the English version guide right now to bring the material up to date with changes in the software/programs/websites/etc. There is some discussion as to file naming and folder organization. So the translation workflow guide is not yet finalized and will be evolving along with the English learnOSM content.

Great! Have the "upload new images" process been solved technically? (eg
new button?)

pull request #246 partially deals with this. New workflow for translators should be easier, but does not resolve "upload new images".
