Allow login to app without mobile_app integration running

So I have some guests over and want to give people access to the lights in my home and thought I'd just let them login with the app on their Iphone, but I hit the issue that the "mobile_app" integration is required.. WHY?

Why doesn't the app let me login and access all the other avialable features just because it isn't possible to register useless info like "HEEELLOOO! I'm IOS-device with {serial} and I have 80% Battery!" into homeassistant? In 99.9% of cases this integration is probably completely useless and just adds needless requirements and complexity.

We want to manage the lights, heating etc in the house, not register every little thing we have and it's important that lights work so I keep strict control over my installation and I've disabled most integrations like the "mobile_app" integration.
Our android devices work well without it and there's just no point of registering and adding useless info in homeassistant for every device we have when we just want to manage lights, heating / air-conditioning etc from the device.

There should be a setting / button you can click like "register this device in homeassistant" AFTER login for those who want it. Tracking client devices shouldn't be assumed to be the default for everyone...
