IOS BLE Transmitter

Hi,

I am looking for an enhancement to be made to the IOS application if possible, I am using ESPresense for room presence but I am having limited success with a couple of iPhones I am trying to track.

I am successfully tracking an Android handset using the BLE Transmitter functionality in the Android companion app and think it would be good if this same functionality could be added to the IOS companion app.

I have tried using the room assistant companion app on both an Iphone 11 and Iphone 13 and had very limited success with that companion app, I haven't went back to it in a while, currently I have only been able to track my wifes Iphone successfully using the standard thumbprint ID like: apple:1006:10-7

Using the BLE transmitter function on my own android handset and its been great so thought it might be a good idea to have the same functionality in the IOS app, will try setting up a key like described in IOS15 above and may even try the room assistant app again.

Agree this would be a great feature! I also tried Room-Assistant iOS app, and it is having trouble updating in the background. Ideally, I would like to use the Home Assistant app to do this same function without need an additional app to trigger ESPresence. I believe this is already a feature in the Andriod OS app. +1 for this feature request!
