pressing M crashes game

when i try to become Mario the game crashes

no mods loaded. rom is from myrient, nintendo 64 big endian, us super mario 64
and yes i named the rom correctly and its in the right spot

• do you get an error about "checksum does not match"? try putting the rom file in this sha1 file checksum tool and tell me what the output says https://emn178.github.io/online-tools/sha1_checksum.html

• upload your GTA SA save file (Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files\GTASAsf1.b) to this site https://gtasnp.com/ and show me what the version says in "Binary/EXE Version"

this has happened to me a few times, but most of the time it works fine

I occasionally get this error too, even without other mods installed. No error messages it'll just completely close the game. It's completely random for me, but most of the time it works as intended.
