here's another idea I've been thinking about btw... I don't remember if I added it as an issue, but just something interesting to think about
I haven't been able to find a nice online tool to give me a breakdown of fucking with a mortgage
so e.g. I have like a $1800/mo payment right now
with 3.375% interest
but I pay an additional $100/mo towards the principal
I want a quick view of how much money I save from the interest
or how much time I shave off the mortgage
I contacted Wells Fargo (they service my mortgage) and asked for a tool that can do that for me
I asked for a tool that can do that with some examples, I said is there a way to compare $100/mo vs $200/mo additional
and they sent back two massive pdfs
that gave me a monthly breakdown
and I'm just like, wtf dude
I just want to see the end result lol
I just want a simple slider thing that I can move back and forth for how much additional I'd pay and it spits out how much I end up saving
