"if water is at a dead end that dead ends in the north direction, the water tiles glitch into the canyon for some reason."

I reckon dead end water should probably be at most 28x28 centered on the chunk to avoid this. This also means I can simplify the mangroves on the dead ends and they will be more like an oasis.

Well, if oases were square :)

It is a slight buff to dead end water because there will be more mangroves as well as more coastline to place offshore pumps.

But I welcome alternative views or suggestions
