Details

Let's prevent the steps for installation Teleport with a package manager from getting out of sync in:

• The one-line installation script (goteleport.com/static/install.sh)
• Smoke tests for package installation methods
• Manual installation instructions in the installation page for using different package repositories

For context, see the discussion in #39508 (comment).

How will we know this is resolved?

There is a single source of truth for installing Teleport binaries with different package managers, and the docs and one-line installation script can share this source of truth.
