The Delpan Incident (#329) introduced Gittip to one kind of fraud, injecting stolen money into the system (and siphoning some of it out). Another fraudulent use of Gittip would be to trick people into giving you their money by pretending to be someone famous. We should be watchful for this practice on Gittip and respond appropriately.
