Hi Grafana team and friends, I'm totally new to Grafana and I would like to ask for some advices, as the starting point to the setup of my team.
As captioned, what I would like to achieve is to install an agent on MacOS. Then let the agent sends the status to th Grafana server, hosted by ourselves (thus no Grafana cloud) and shared the status via web dashboard. I'm able to launch the Grafana with docker-compose, but I'm stuck in the rest of the setup....
How should I configure Grafana Agent of MacOS? I read the docs with detailed specifications, and I refer to the one at https://grafana.com/docs/agent/latest/configuration/create-config-file/ and some sample configs for th Grafana cloud. Is there a simple one that we can refer to for MacOS; (By the way I didnt see "Integrations and Connections Wizard" from the doc here: https://grafana.com/blog/2022/05/20/introducing-the-macos-integration-for-grafana-cloud/, is that the reason I cannot configure the agent?)
Agent's connection to our Grafana server: this should be related to the config yaml too... As many of the config samples are for Grafana Cloud, how should I config if I want to connect it to our own Grafana server?
Required configurations on Grafana server side: I see from the docs that mentioned "Grafana Integrations" (https://grafana.com/docs/grafana-cloud/data-configuration/integrations/), but I cannot find this part in our Grafana server. Then how should we configure our server to allow/accept/connect with the agent installed on MacOS?
Sorry for my naive questions as a beginner, or if I missed out any practices/rules when posting new questions/discussion. Thanks very much for any help or advices.
