It would be nice if text2qti just ignored any line starting with #. This would allow us to use headers to organize the markdown and easily collapse / navigate sections in the editor without affecting the output.
I will implement this and offer a pull request when I get a chance. Just putting it out there in case I've overlooked something.
Thanks for this program. Very useful tool. Great in combination with qti-convert, which I've added md output to. Together they allow me to avoid altogether the abomination that is Canvas quizzes and quiz banks.
