What I also notice is that the test case does not get identified as a font by the file command - and does not seem to have a correct SFNT signature - not sure why we ignore that. CC @dfrg

The first 6 bytes look reasonable to me, specifying an sfnt version of 0x00010000 and a table count of 3. I’m not sure about the binary search parameters but we just ignore those.
