The idea being that it will be easier/preferred for users to specify using one of these icons in certain cases/projects (especially early on) for organization (with-or-without a custom badge). I did a test of this. Some are grayscale (intended to use node color(s) automatically, others have color (used as-is for game mechanics, perhaps still recolored with user-specified value).
This was a freeform test, as in I did not see how these actually look in Godot (I did use a grid) and the shades may not be right (especially with nodes that have 2 type colors).
Low priority, this is something that needs more community for feedback/polling on what concepts/designs are viable. A future use case for something like this would also be game jams, though I know I didn't add nearly enough.
