Backup & Versioning of Notes

V3.7.0+ of FSNotes for macOS supports the use of Git to backup (with versioning) your Notes. This is configured in Preferences ⇨ Git, where you can configure where the Git repositories are stored, and whether backup should be manual or automatic. Repositories are stored in ~/Library/Containers/co.fluder.FSNotes/Data/Library/Application Support/Repositories by default. The repositories are not stored in the same directory of your Notes by default as they are not recommended for storage in the cloud. If backup is configured to be automatic, Git will run every time-interval specified, and any changes to notes will be stored. If backup is set to manual, then you must use the context menu of the Notes.

If you have a previous git repo, you can rename and copy/move in into the configured location.
