Prior to joining the lab, I did an NSF fellowship at the P. LiWang Lab, in which I designed and produced chemokine protein variants for improving protein-protein interactions to control inflammatory diseases. This past summer, I joined the Glasgow Lab through the Rosetta Commons, where I developed a computational pipeline to analyze differences in H-D exchange among homologous secondary structures across the lysozyme family, with the purpose of understanding how secondary structures interact to enable lysozyme's hydrolyzing function. Outside the lab, I volunteer for the UCSF Fresno mobile clinic, and I love to go hiking at Yosemite National Park.
