The bot seems not joining I ran it. Payload is working fine and webhook as well.

@ritche007 there have been some recent changes specifically improving ghi talking to freenode. Are you connecting to freenode?

If you set debug: True in the config file you should get more information what the problem is if the latest changes on master do not work for you.
