Add support for GNU Guile, then we could have Emacs Lisp and possibly interop with Emacs plugins? A very far away go not to be done know. Just wanting to know if there is interest.

@vinipsmaker I've never heard of GNU Guile before, but it looks interesting. Do you have experience with it? It would be cool to support existing plugins. Extensions / plugins are something I'd like to do well, and allow people to write extensions in different languages. This is certainly an interesting project, I'll definitely look into it. Thanks for sharing!

I've never heard of GNU Guile before, but it looks interesting.

Emacs folks are trying to replace the internal engine by Guile for a looong time: http://www.emacswiki.org/emacs/GuileEmacs

It'd be funny if iota reaches this feature first.
