The physical controls on the hot tub, and my app, both limit water temperature target to 40C max. I've noticed using the API I can set the target higher than this (I tested to 40.5). Does anyone have any input on the max you can heat to, and what, if any, consequences there would be to either the electrical, software, or for other parts of the hot tub?
The reason for asking is to heat the hot tub over night on cheap electricity to perhaps 43C, and then enjoy a 39.5C hot tub the next evening once the water temperature has dropped.

If you over heat the tub then the plumbing can crack. The pipes are normally made of PVC and higher the temperature more risk of glue losing it's capacity.
Look like the maintainer is'nt very active on this lib.
Unfortunately you are correct, I’ve not been very active at all, the last two years have been very challenging for me, but that might be about change, which will be great as there is quite a backlog of stuff to do. On 21 Dec 2024, at 00:48, Claude Gelinas ***@***.***> wrote:
