DirectShow doesn't show up at all! Probably Unities fault, not much I can do there if so, but it means that desktop interaction is a hard requirement for getting things working.
Some strings are completely busted 95% of the time. Perhaps a dotnet framework issue? Doesn't matter as the camera name will always be "Video For Windows" or w/e if it's correct, as DirectShow cameras do not work.
Camera never gets killed. No idea why it doesn't, but my hunch is that the async task getting started and stopped from different places makes it lose track of itself.
I really hope it isn't, but the only alternatives I can think of are so much worse.
