Hi @eMPee584 thank you for all the amazing effort put into this piece.

I'm often in a situation where I want to promote the Maker Stick and figured I normally need it in English more than in German.

Is there a smart way to facilitate both versions? I could help with translations of docs etc

I'm just not sure how to best submit a solution as PR here, so lets check via comments first how this would work and if this is even wanted.

hey @timmwille I am so interested in the project but boring to have to translate the docs to English. As I study operating System creation, I have test this software and works great

Sorry Dut about the delay on this; I had started on i18n for the boot menu but the stick I was working from at our OTFN Hackathon back in March got lost in a hurry. I will get back to this soon.
It is very easy to change the language though, you can just edit the file boot/grub/grub.cfg on the first partition and change (or drop) the parameters locales=de_DE.UTF-8, keyboard-layouts=de and timezone=Europe/Berlin to locales=en_GB.utf8, keyboard-layouts=gb and timezone=Africa/Kampala for the first entry. This will take effect only on initialisation, so if you already started the stick before you'll have to change these parameters in /etc/default/locale or using localectl set-locale / set-x11-keymap.
