Display users list

I just had an idea for a new feature: a user list page.
A lot of users have interesting profiles with links to their interesting/useful blogs and websites.
It would be nice to make that more visible.

Users with more content would show up first.

Opinions?

It must be an opt-in list. Create a flag in profile "show my info in users list".

I think this a good idea, but I think that the layout from the welcome page need to be clean. What do you think a create some integration with social sites like Twitter or Facebook, cause more users can see open source projects issues

What I'm thinking is to add a "Users" link right beside "Issues" in the top navbar.

Can you elaborate on the "some integration" part?

I think in the first initial integration, when someone post new project issue you can twitt in the FreedomSponsors's Twitter account. So, everyone who's following the Twitter account can know that have a new project issue and this isn't a SPAM. ;). Same thing to the Facebook.
