I would like to have the functionality to export per unittest all the descriptions in the FEATURE, SCENARIO, GIVEN, WHEN, THEN attributes to Excel. If this is possible we are able to inform the stakeholders which have no access to the AL sourcecode about the amount en type of unittests are available and we have some "evidence" to our customers about the automatic test which are available

Hi Benno, thanx for the interest. Good to see.
This is on our list for v2, where we want to enable import/export from/to Excel. But first version v1 needs to get completed. And before that I first not to get the 2nd edition of my book completed.

BTW: having expressed your interest we might decide to have this done as first thing for v2.

Thanks for the quick response. Do you have any idea of the time schedule for delivering this functionality?

No, hope to get v1 finished somewhere this summer and start v2 in fall.

Hi @lvanvugt Luc,
Hope you're ok! I guess you're as busy as the rest of us? :)

We have been using "your" Excel sheet for some years now, and I was being asked for the same thing by our team.
We very often add further tests, on top of the ones we added at our original discovery (3 Amigos) meetings. Having to maintain the scenarios in two places is really a killer, so most often these tests are never confirmed by the team or the user.
No rush, but what's the updated schedule?

Hey @epernst, doing well and still busy with completing the book. That's the very reason that this project is not moving at this moment. Will get back to it when the book is finished, which is projected for end this month and maybe some parts to do in December.
Indeed the issue you're describing (and initially @BennoVendrig is pointing to) is a valid one and on of the two next major things to be added (next to import of ATDD scenarios from Excel).
