Hi, the issue from #2 appears to be back again. DrRacket is launching very slowly, taking many minutes to start up.

Sorry for the late reply. Have you tried downgrading the Racket flatpak on your machine?

Ok, I tried that.. downgraded to 8.14, 8.11 and 8.10.. all of them have the slow loading issue so something has changed.

In the terminal it says:

Note that '/var/lib/flatpak/exports/share' is not in the search path
set by the XDG_DATA_HOME and XDG_DATA_DIRS
environment variables, so applications may not
be able to find it until you set them. The
directories currently searched are:

- /root/.local/share

Does that mean anything? echo $XDG_DATA_DIRS returns "/home/deck/.local/share/flatpak/exports/share:/var/lib/flatpak/exports/share:/usr/local/share:/usr/share" so it seems like the path is there..
