Try to change functions in refresh-scripts to have a single line that needs edited

Weird idea here that I don't know if it'll work or not, but want to try to change the functions in the refresh-scripts so that there's a single line that needs to be edited for which metric is getting mined/returned (e.g., instead of typing it once for saving to github and once for saving to google, there's just a single variable that both of those steps use)
